ASUS Voodoo3 3000
Based upon the 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 processor, this card provided a mixed set of responses in the various benchmarks. The performance of the card was on par with that of the TNT2 processor with a capability of rendering about 333 million pixels per second. The package included just the card with a very simple sheet of paper detailing the specifications. The test scores after running the 3D Mark 2000 were not available since the card did not complete some of the tests. The same held true for the 3D WinMark 2000 test where individual scores were returned in the tests but no overall scores were available. For the Quake II test using the Glide drivers, the frame rates turned out to be very close to that of the TNT2 card.
This card is a good choice for gaming but the price does not justify its performance when compared to the nVidia processor-based cards.
